The Joy of Giving Back

Earth Day was and will always be a very special date for us and, as we told you before, we wanted to do something special this year, something more than just separate the trash and turn off the lights for one hour at night... don’t get us wrong, we will keep doing those things that we know are a way to do our part on a daily basis, however, as a company, we decided to create this campaign where you can also join our love for this place we call home and help turning this day into a much bigger celebration, besides, it was a win – win situation for everyone involved if you know what I mean.

SVAKOM and “Drop In the Bucket” are Joining Forces to Make Water Accessible

Many of us have no idea that we could save 2 million lives a year if we did nothing other than provide access to clean water, without any other medical intervention. That’s exactly what “Drop In the Bucket”-a registered international NGO has been doing since 2006, to assist community development by constructing water and sanitation facilities at schools and communities.SVAKOM this time is joining forces with Drop in the Bucket and decided to give 10% of its sales from August 20th to August 30th to this great cause.

SVAKOM hilft Bäumen für die Zukunft, die 200-Millionen-Baum-Marke zu erreichen

Die gemeinnützige Organisation Trees for the Future (TREES) für nachhaltige Landwirtschaft gab am Dienstag bekannt, dass sie weltweit mehr als 200 Millionen Bäume gepflanzt hat. Zehntausende von Landwirten haben die Bäume in den letzten drei Jahrzehnten in Verbindung mit Agroforstschulungen von TREES auf ihrem eigenen Land gepflanzt.

Vor einigen Monaten (genauer gesagt Ende August 2020) kooperierte SVAKOM mit DROP IN THE BUCKET, einer registrierten internationalen NGO, die seit 2006 Gemeindeentwicklung durch den Bau von Wasser- und Sanitäranlagen in Schulen und Gemeinden betreibt.

Dankbarkeit ist ein grundlegendes Element in unserem Alltag, das wir irgendwie ignorieren oder aufhören, darauf zu achten, da wir wissen, wie wir die positiven Dinge erkennen können, die in unser Leben kommen, und die Möglichkeit haben, sie mit unseren Mitmenschen zu teilen, erzeugen eine erweiterte Atmosphäre von Positivismus, der uns motiviert, weiterhin unser Bestes zu geben.
