Meet Estef Palacios: A Sexologist, Educator, and Advocate for Pleasure Without Shame

Estef Palacios is a sexuality influencer and sexologist with more than 10 years of experience in the adult industry and content creation. She currently has a community of more than 4 million followers across her different social media platforms, gives online and in-person talks and workshops in different countries, and has collaborated with a variety of radio, television, and print media outlets, including El País Spain, Cosmopolitan Mexico, Los 40 Mexico, El Heraldo de México, and MVS Noticias, among others.

Her journey into the world of sexuality began almost by chance. Estef started her social media career on YouTube, at a time when openly talking about sex online was still far less common than it is today. In 2018, she became the first content creator in Latin America to dedicate her content to openly discussing sexuality, paving the way for a type of content that was practically nonexistent on social media in LATAM at the time.

What started as videos on the internet quickly turned into something much bigger. As her community began to grow, so did the hundreds of comments and messages from people filled with questions about sex, pleasure, relationships, and their own bodies.

Estef realized that behind every question was an enormous lack of sex education, and she decided that she did not want to limit herself to simply entertaining people or sharing information she found online. She wanted to have the professional knowledge and tools necessary to talk about sexuality responsibly.

Her academic background began in Organizational Psychology, and she later decided to specialize in Human Sexuality, completing further studies in Sex Education and continuing her training with a Master’s degree in Clinical Sexology and Couples Therapy.

As she grew professionally, her content also expanded to other platforms and formats. Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and even Pornhub became spaces where she could continue talking about sexuality in a different way.

On Pornhub, she became the first sexologist to share non-explicit sex education videos on the platform, bringing reliable information about sexuality directly to one of the places where millions of people go looking for answers, references, and information about sex.

Across her social media platforms, she talks about sex education, pleasure, relationships, self-esteem, empowerment, and lifestyle through a disruptive, fun, and irreverent approach.

Because if there is one thing she strongly believes, it is that sexuality should be discussed with the same sense of normality as any other part of our lives.

And it should not feel like sitting through a boring anatomy class either.

That is why her communication style has always been approachable, direct, fun, and refreshingly straightforward: like talking about sex with your best friend. A friend who will probably make you laugh, but who also happens to be a sexologist and can explain what is actually going on.

This combination of education, entertainment, and authenticity has led her to become one of the most influential Spanish-speaking sexologists.

For Estef, talking about sexuality also means talking about much more than sex. It means learning to understand our bodies, exploring our desires, communicating with our partners, setting boundaries, working on our self-esteem, and allowing ourselves to experience pleasure without guilt or shame.

Because ultimately, one of the phrases that best represents her philosophy is also one of her most iconic:

“Being sexy is all about attitude.”

Estef currently works with SVAKOM, one of the leading international brands in the development of products focused on pleasure and sexual wellness—a project that perfectly aligns with the way she understands sexuality: technology, innovation, education, and, of course, plenty of pleasure.

“Even before I started working with SVAKOM, it was already my favorite sex toy brand. Their products are exceptionally high quality, their designs are elegant, and they use premium materials. And they are not only useful for pleasure—they can also help us explore and take care of our sexual wellness. I love all of them, but two of my favorites are ECHO 2 and KLITTY.”

I love ECHO 2 because it is an incredible toy for anyone taking their first steps into the world of sex toys.

A lot of people want to buy their first toy, but the moment they discover just how many options are out there, they have absolutely no idea which one to choose. I think ECHO 2 is perfect for beginners because it allows you to discover and explore different sensations gradually.

It is gentle, has a warming temperature feature, and offers different vibration settings. You can start with softer intensities to get familiar with the sensations and then, as you level up and become more experienced, play with stronger vibrations that can bring you a whole lot of pleasure.

Plus, because it is designed for external stimulation, it allows us to understand something I consider incredibly important when we talk about sexuality: pleasure is not limited to our genitals.

Of course, we can use it to explore the clitoris and vulva, but we can also move it across different parts of the body and discover our own erogenous map. The neck, nipples, thighs, back… we can even use it to explore our partner’s body.

Because sometimes we are so obsessed with going straight for the genitals that we forget we have an entire body filled with nerve endings just waiting for us to play with them.

KLITTY, on the other hand, is one of my favorites because… could you imagine carrying the sensation of oral sex in your pocket? It’s crazy!

Add a little lubricant and you can enjoy its different vibrations and tongue-like movements. The material is so soft that it is designed to mimic the sensation of lips moving around the clitoris—ideally, your crush’s lips—and it also features a vacuum effect that helps intensify the sensations even further.

The combination of the tongue-like movement, vibrations, incredibly soft material, and vacuum effect creates an experience that feels completely different from a traditional vibrator.

And from there… get ready to see stars!

After more than a decade working in the adult industry, one thing Estef continues to advocate for is the idea that sex toys are not here to replace our partners, nor do we use them because there is “something missing” in our sex lives.

They are tools for exploration.

They can help us discover new sensations, understand our bodies better, break out of our routines, play with our partners, or simply enjoy our sexuality on our own.

Because for Estef, sexuality should be experienced exactly like this: with curiosity, knowledge, freedom, consent, and, of course, pleasure.

Without shame, without so many taboos, and without ever forgetting to have fun along the way.

Because being sexy is all about attitude.
