石墙事件如何引发了一场革命

想象一下生活在一个仅仅做自己就可能被逮捕的世界。

这就是20世纪60年代LGBTQ+群体的现实。那时，公开是同性恋、女同性恋、双性恋或跨性别者不仅被人们不齿——在大多数地方还是非法的。警方经常突袭LGBTQ+人群聚集的酒吧，仅仅因为他们敢于存在并一起快乐地相处。

骄傲之前的生活

像纽约市格林威治村的石墙酒吧不仅仅是喝酒的地方——它们是那些在其他地方感到不安全的人的避风港。石墙酒吧并不豪华：有些破旧，但它欢迎所有人，尤其是那些经常被排斥的人：跨性别者、变装皇后、有色人种以及无处可去的年轻人。

但即使这些安全空间也并非真正安全。警方突袭很常见。警察会冲进来，打开灯，把所有人排成一排，并以“违反规定”为由逮捕人。大多数夜晚，人们会尽量保持冷静，希望事情快点结束。

改变一切的那个夜晚

但1969年6月28日，那晚有所不同。当警方突袭石墙酒吧时，人群决定忍无可忍。人们拒绝出示身份证，有些人还进行了反抗，外面聚集的人群越来越多，越来越大胆。

当晚在场的Stormé DeLarverie后来说，

“这是一场反抗，是一次起义，是一场民权抗命——绝不是该死的骚乱。”

人们开始高呼口号，投掷硬币和瓶子，捍卫自己的权利。警方震惊了，最终把自己关在酒吧内，外面的人群要求正义。抗议持续了数天，越来越多的人加入。第一晚有13人被捕，石墙酒吧几乎被毁，但社区的精神比以往任何时候都更强大。

骄傲的诞生

石墙事件不是LGBTQ+群体第一次反抗，但它是一个转折点。它激励人们组织起来，发声，争取平等权利。新的激进团体成立，仅一年后，即1970年6月28日，第一场骄傲游行在纽约市举行，纪念这次起义的周年。这场游行成为我们现在所知的骄傲月传统，在全世界庆祝。

为什么石墙事件依然重要

石墙事件向世界展示了LGBTQ+群体不再沉默。2016年，石墙酒吧成为美国第一个以LGBTQ+权利为主题的国家纪念碑，强有力地提醒我们已经走了多远，还有多远要走。
