SVAKOM radio ad leaves Australians lusting for sextech
by Vanessa Rose
Why ban phones from the bedroom when you can pair them with sex toys for something a little extra?
That’s the message of our cheeky radio ad in Australia proving there’s no need to get off your phone when you can use it to get off.
The 30-second ad is a joint initiative of SVAKOM and Amore Erotica, one of our stockists in Adelaide, the capital city of South Australia.
Our aim is to normalize the use of app-controlled sex toys as a healthy way for adults to interact in ways greater than touch alone.
Apps compatible with sex toys can be just as useful to adults as any other they download to their smart devices, particularly if they’re long-distance, watching movies or have fans.
Sexual wellness is as much a pillar of good health as sleep, exercise and nutrition. Innovative technology with a focus on pleasure is available to help adults prioritize and pursue their sexual wellness in safe and consensual ways, so why not give it go?
It’s certainly the case for adults who tuned into Adelaide radio station Fresh 92.7.
Amore Erotica has been inundated with requests for SVAKOM app-controlled sex toys throughout the two-month campaign, which ended in none other than the final week of May, National Masturbation Month, 2024.
“We have consistently strived to be the leader in providing exceptional customer service as well as introducing a wide range of high-quality adult products,” a spokesperson for Amore Erotica said.
Exactly what has sparked locals’ love affair with SVAKOM products?
SVAKOM’s app-controlled range lets users share control of their sex toy with a partner, text chat or video call them regardless of distance, as well as create their own vibration patterns using music, ambient sounds or line drawings.
Taking sex-ploration even further, SVAKOM’s Connexion Series of app-controlled products also let users sync their toy to adult video content or monetise webcam performances, opening limitless possibilities for fans and entertainers.
You have gotten out of a long-term relationship. We know, it sucks. You are wondering how long it will be before you find someone else who's really worth it.
Self-pleasure is so often reduced to an outcome — a technique, an orgasm, a box to check. But it can be something far more meaningful: a homecoming to your own body and sensations. In this personal and insightful piece, Sexological Bodyworker Johanna Debes explores why so many women lose touch with their desire, how self-pleasure rebuilds body knowledge and confidence, and why approaching it with curiosity instead of pressure changes everything.
Have you ever found yourself checking your phone repeatedly after sending a message?
Or felt your mood change completely because someone you’re dating took longer than usual to reply?
Going from friends with benefits to a committed relationship isn't usually something you actively seek—or plan for. But it can happen. Not always, and not always in a simple way.
No two women are the same. We all have different tastes, sensitivity levels, fantasies, and even body shapes. Therefore, the key word in sex is always going to be: curiosity.
If you don’t know what “yoni” means, think again. In Sanskrit, “yoni” is often used to refer to the womb, vulva, vagina, or female genital area more broadly.
Most people know the feeling of being “horny,” but many also know what it’s like when that desire just doesn’t show up. Sexual arousal isn’t always automatic—it can be influenced by stress, fatigue, hormones, mood, or simply being out of practice. The good news? There are many practical, low-pressure ways to get yourself into the mood. This guide walks you through what arousal really is, why it can feel hard sometimes, and proven techniques to help you feel horny more easily—whether you’re solo or with a partner.
