Pleasure to Purpose: How SVAKOM Is Helping to Grow a Greener Future

At SVAKOM, we believe pleasure should feel good in every way—especially when it creates a lasting impact beyond the bedroom. That’s why we’re proud to continue our partnership with Trees for the Future; a global nonprofit turning deforested land into thriving forest gardens that support both people and the planet.

Our Ongoing Commitment: One Product, One Tree

Back in 2023, we launched our first tree-planting initiative with Trees for the Future: the One Product, One Tree campaign. For every SVAKOM product sold with the campaign sticker, we pledged to fund the planting of one tree.

By the end of that first year, you helped us plant more than 86,000 trees in regions of Africa deeply impacted by deforestation, including Senegal and Uganda.

Each one of those trees is part of a bigger story—a story of sustainable farming, soil restoration, and community empowerment.

You can learn more about just one of the many stories—that of Coumba and Mountakha in Senegal—in this video:

Why Forest Gardens Matter

The consequences of deforestation go far beyond lost trees. It affects local food systems, water quality, livelihoods, and biodiversity. But forest gardens offer a solution that’s both smart and sustainable.

These multi-layered gardens:

  • Restore soil health naturally

  • Feed families all year round

  • Create reliable income streams

  • Rebuild local ecosystems

  • Capture carbon and fight climate change

Rather than just planting trees and walking away, Trees for the Future trains local farmers to care for these gardens long-term—empowering them with education, tools, and ownership over their land.

Pleasure That Gives Back

With our continued Play to Plant initiative, every SVAKOM toy you buy helps plant a tree. That means your moments of pleasure are doing more than you might think—they’re growing food, restoring soil, and helping families build better futures.

We’ve also made big steps toward sustainability in our own operations, including:

  • Eliminating plastic wrap across all our future packaging

  • Committing to smarter, lower-waste design choices

  • Creating high-quality pleasure products from long-lasting materials

  • All of our toys are charged with charging cables, so no wasted batteries here!

So, What’s Next?

We’re in this for the long run. While we’re proud of the 86,000+ trees already planted, we know it’s just the beginning. Our goal is to keep growing this impact with your support—one toy, one tree at a time.

And we’ll keep you updated. Check this page to follow how your support creates new milestones, stories, and sustainability efforts.

How Can I Get Involved?

Supporting this campaign is easy—and every small action adds up to a greener future.

  1. Buy a toy, plant a tree: With every SVAKOM order, you're helping plant real trees in real communities that need them most. Whether you're upgrading your toy collection or treating someone special, your purchase directly supports reforestation efforts through our partnership with Trees for the Future. It’s pleasure with purpose—one tree at a time.

  2. Spread the word: We believe in the power of community. Share your support by tagging @svakom_official and using #PlayToPlant on social media. Whether it’s an unboxing, a sustainability story, or just a show of support, your voice can inspire others to join the movement.

  3. Visit trees.org: Curious about where your impact goes? Head over to trees.org to learn more about Forest Gardens, meet the farmers behind the work, or make a direct donation. The more we understand, the more we grow together.

  4. Embrace eco-conscious living: Sustainability doesn’t stop at the checkout page. Choosing rechargeable toys, avoiding plastic packaging, and supporting ethical brands are just a few ways you can make a difference. With every mindful choice, you're helping build a future where pleasure and planet go hand in hand.
