Rabbit vibrators have been around since the 1980s, with the Rabbit Pearl appearing in 1984. The original design combined internal stimulation with little external "rabbit ears" for clitoral stimulation, plus rotating beads inside the shaft. Animal-shaped designs were also a way of navigating Japan's strict obscenity laws at the time.
But the rabbit really entered mainstream culture in 1998, when Charlotte famously became obsessed with one in Sex and the City. Since then, rabbit vibrators have evolved enormously. They're now rechargeable, usually made from silicone, and the classic ears have been replaced by all sorts of innovative designs. Some vibrate, some move, some thrust, some roll, and some do several things at once.
So, here are my top five rabbit vibrators from SVAKOM, in order of the ones I find the most original. And this isn't simply about choosing one "best" rabbit vibrator because they all offer very different sensations. You could quite easily have all five and get something completely different from each one.

1. SVAKOM Cici+ 2
Starting with Cici+ 2, this is the one that intrigued me the most from the whole list because I absolutely love the fact that it's so small. In fact, both components are almost finger-sized.
The little bend in the design makes it really versatile, and there's something quite nice about having a pleasure product that isn't big and imposing. This is perfect if you're looking for something ultra-slim.
And it's a great reminder that you don't need a huge vibrator to have a huge orgasm.
I absolutely love how versatile this one is, and I also love the fact that it engages my erotic imagination. I can imagine that some hot guy is getting to work with his skilled fingers, which adds another dimension to the experience.
What's really interesting about this one is that I've never seen this particular design on another rabbit vibrator. It has a thrusting ring of beads at the base of the shaft.
Usually, with a thrusting vibrator, the shaft itself moves in and out while the rest of the vibrator stays relatively still. With Mora Neo, the shaft remains in place while these little thrusting beads at the base move up and down.
It creates a really interesting internal massage, particularly around the G-spot area. You can adjust the speed, and you can also use it without the thrusting beads if you prefer.
I think it's a really nice evolution of those original rabbits that had rotating beads in the base, but personally, I think the thrusting sensation feels even better.
What I love about this one is the tapered tip on the shaft and its rolling component. That rolling sensation feels absolutely delicious when it's used internally.
But what's amazing is that you can also use it completely externally. You can press it against the clitoris and let that rolling component work against you.
The sensation can almost feel like a skilled tongue, which is where the erotic imagination comes in again. You can imagine that someone else is down there doing their thing with their tongue.
I love a pleasure product that gives you the opportunity to engage your imagination as well as your body, and this one definitely does that for me.
Avery is a thrusting vibrator, in the sense that the top part of the shaft moves up and down. You can also use it externally, but if you particularly enjoy a thrusting sensation, this one gives you that feeling beautifully.
It can also be used hands-free, which creates a very different experience. There's something quite interesting about being able to let the vibrator do the work while you focus on the sensations.
And I have to say, I find it incredibly ergonomic and very pleasurable to use.
Chika is a fantastic G-spot stimulator. The shaft has an oval tip and is angled forwards, with a lovely little nub that makes it easy to connect with the G-spot.
But what I particularly love is the external component, which has two bumps. That's quite original and very different from the classic rabbit design.
I suppose you could think of it as a rabbit with two noses!
Because although the ears were fantastic on those original rabbits, the little nose between the ears was also incredibly effective for external stimulation. Chika takes that idea and gives you two protruding bumps that feel absolutely delicious.
